FIREARM RENTALS

Handguns – $15 plus cost of ammo


Rifles – $20 plus cost of ammo

Firearm Rental Policy:

  • Shooter must have either a firearm present or have another person accompanying them
  • Must purchase our ammo in house
  • Must be of the appropriate legal age to rent/purchase ammo
    (18 for rifle, 21 for pistol)
  • Must have firearm experience for rental of interest

GUNSMITHING

Gunsmithing Dropoff & Pickup are available Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday from 12pm-7pm, and Saturdays 10am-7pm.

SENDERO SHOOTING SPORTS RANGE RULES

RANGE SAFETY RULES 


ANY UNSAFE PRACTICES OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW RANGE RULES CAN AND WILL RESULT IN BEING ASKED TO LEAVE DUE TO INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

ALL BAGS AND CASES ARE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION 

 

 

For safety, all firearms must be cased and unloaded or holstered – holstered firearms must be on person. If you do not have a case, please come into the facility without the firearm and we will allow you to borrow a case.  After that, please ensure to have your own, or you can purchase one in store. 

 

Firearms should NOT be unholstered or uncased unless at the shooting stall or with the permission of a staff member.

All rifle ammunition will be inspected for steel projectiles, tracers, or anything that sticks to a magnet, as such ammunition is PROHIBITED in the range to prevent damage to our steel traps or create sparks that can cause a fire. 

 

To make the inspection process faster, please bring in all rifle magazines unloaded. 

 

ABSOLUTELY no uncased firearms outside of the stall, and firearms must be always pointed down range. For the safety of the staff and other patrons using the range, you will be asked to leave for the day if this rule is broken. We will provide audio and video of the incident.  

 

No shotguns allowed

 

No firearms, cases, bags, or personal items outside of stall red line. 

 

No transferring firearms between stalls unless it’s cased and uncased in the next stall. 

 

Eye and ear protection must be always worn. 

 

No low cut shirts. 

 

Shoes must not have open tops, sides, or backs. 

 

Only one person inside the stall with a loaded firearm at a time. 

 

No hand-to-hand transfers of firearms. 

 

No drawing from the holster 

 

Minors must be able to safely handle and operate the firearm without assistance, and must be accompanied by a legal guardian and not left unattended with a firearm 

 

No loose powder for muzzleloaders, only Pyrodex pellets  

 

No head shots or game targets under 10 yards. 

 

Acoustical tile baffle strikes will result in the charge of a $1 per strike damage fee.  

 

In the event of a MALFUNCTION, place your firearm down, muzzle facing downrange, and contact the nearest Range Safety Officer 

 

In an EMERGENCY, a cease-fire will be called and lights will flash on and off. At this time, immediately stop and place firearm on the stall bench, muzzle facing downrange, and take a step back, remaining in your stall.

TRANSFER POLICY

FFL & NFA TRANSFERS 

All firearms transferred to Sendero Shooting Sports must be picked up by the transferee within ninety (90) days following receipt by Sendero Shooting Sports from the transferor. Sendero Shooting Sports will contact the transferee at the contact information received once the firearm is available for transfer. The transferee is responsible for ensuring contact information is current and correct. 
 
Only the transferor of a firearm can change the name of the person who will receive and pick up the firearm from Sendero Shooting Sports. Sendero Shooting Sports will only release a firearm to the transferee identified by the transferor. 
 
All firearms transferred to Sendero Shooting Sports are considered abandoned if not picked up by the transferee within ninety (90) days following the date the firearm was received by Sendero Shooting Sports, unless other arrangements were made and agreed to in writing by Sendero Shooting Sports. If at any point the firearm is required to be returned to the original transferor or the transferee is ineligible to receive the firearm, the transferee will incur all related costs associated with the return. 
 
Abandoned firearms will be disposed of by Sendero Shooting Sports in a manner determined by Sendero Shooting Sports sole discretion. Proceeds collected from the sale of an abandoned firearm shall belong exclusively to Sendero Shooting Sports and the intended transferee of such firearm waives all claims or demands against Sendero Shooting Sports, its employees, owners, and agents arising out of any disposition of an abandoned firearm by Sendero Shooting Sports. 
 
By using Sendero Shooting Sports as a firearm transfer agent, you consent to this policy.
